  1.    Anyway, after dragging the Editorial, I then had to
  2. wait 10 seconds for the program to unpack or degarble (or
  3. whatever) the file. Trying other articles took even
  4. longer, as graphics were loaded in. Some articles change
  5. the mode to 15, and this slows down the whole process even
  6. more.

  8.    The articles themselves were a mixed bunch on a wide
  9. range of topics, but seemed a little thin on the ground
  10. (and I was looking at issue 5!).

  12.    In fact if you take out the editorials, the help files
  13. the articles about how to write articles, the free ads and
  14. the credits etc... you end up with well er... not that
  15. many articles really.

  17.    Well actually, there are two very good articles that
  18. have obviously been put together by people with a sound
  19. knowledge of computing. The first of these , about desktop
  20. programming, is a running column teaching the reader how
  21. to program in the desktop. Not an original idea (it has
  22. been done by some of the printed Archie magazines) but
  23. none the less, a good one.
